I am extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert (Bob) Knapp as our North American Sales Manager. Bob has spent the last twenty five years in senior positions with John Deere both as an employee and with top John Deere distributors. As part of Irrigation Components International‘s Domestic “Invasion Plan”, we have opened 3 wholly owned regional parts depots or branches. These locations are in Daphne, Alabama, Yorkville, Illinois and Amarillo, Texas. Bob will be charged with leading and fostering a team environment that successfully executes our branch operational plans. His strong leadership abilities will allow him to motivate, coach and mentor our sales and branch office staff. It is our plan to continue identifying additional regions within the USA and Canada for expansion. Bob will be charged with locating additional areas of potential growth and recruiting top personnel to staff these branches. The overall strategy is to improve our position in the North American market.
Bob will be working closely with Adam and me in consolidating and implementing our domestic strategic plans. His analytical skills, experience in developing and maintaining customer and supplier relationships will allow for implementation of our long term goals.
